Sepp Blatter Doesnt know what hes talking about

Posted by Michael on May 30, 2008

He doesnt know what he is talking about….

MR FIFA, Sepp Blatter, does not know what he’s talking about.

His “master plan” is to have football teams playing with 6 national players, for example chelsea would have to field 6 players eligible to play for England (which technically means they can have foreigners as long as they are eligible to play for England). This is a phase plan, so in 2010 it starts with 4 nationals, then 5 then 6 by the year 2012.

The first thing to note is it breaks EU law. This is a reason why we do not support Blatters crappy vision.

The other is because its supposedly because he wants this new directive brought in to help national teams.
How will this help the national teams? The big teams buy the best players wherever they happen to be from. The best players go to the best clubs.

The best league in the world is the English Premier League. The best players want to play in this league. If you restrict which players can play you are asking the teams to pick players based on where they are from, and not how good they are. The standard of the teams will drop, the league will decline, and all the good players will go elsewhere to other leagues. If the english league declines where the english players are playing, then their standard will drop, therefore the national teams will also drop.

Sepp Blatter is a bitter man, who is not happy about that there were 3 English teams in the semi finals, and of course the final was contested with Man Utd and Chelsea. A few years back it was the same but Spanish teams, where 3/4 of the semi finalists were Spanish.

Foreign players are playing in England and what he is saying is “they are keeping out english players”, so why dont the fringe players go abroad? How many english players are there playing in Serie A, La Liga, or the Bundes Liga? If they have the talent they could go over to any of these places and get into a good team. However they do not go abroad, they stay here.

This would be terrible for football if this comes into effect, football is at a golden time, why would anyone want to make huge changes to it? Leave our Football Alone!!!

The UK did us proud, and came in last. UK, Germany and Poland all got 14 points, however UK are officially last as they got less 12/10/8 points than the other 2. Well done And

Giovani Dos Santos: Barca to Chelsea?

Posted by Michael on May 22, 2008

Giovani – Chelsea bound?

I am hearing that Chelsea have agreed to bring Giovani Dos Santos to Stanford bridge from Barcelona. This is a big suprise, Giovani has played some games this season for Barca, and he is a huge prospect for the club.

Whats going on??? I will update this story when more news breaks.

Update 1: Reports are suggesting Barca would offer Giovani as part of a swap deal for Maluda. Other reports say there are other teams in the running to sign him, including Tottenham and Manchester City.
