One of the great things about mobile phone cameras is that you can point and shoot, and send your picture within seconds to the internet, your computer, other people etc. The biggest problem is that the quality is not upto scratch in comparison with a digital camera, although some camera phones are very good.

You can now buy a SD card for your digital camera which makes it easy for you to send pics to your computer or upload online. It is made by a company called EyeFi and basically is a SD memory card which adds WIFI capabilities to your digital camera, meaning you can send your pics (and videos depending on the card) to your computer or online without cables, direct from the camera!

This is very cool, i have been thinking about a device like this but did not realise it would be possible with just an SD card, and any compatible digital camera. Next we need 3G capabilities in Cameras, so they are truely mobile

It is available in the U.S now, i havent seen any readily available, there are 2GB and 4GB cards at different price ranges, an Amazon UK retailer is selling 2gb versions for £79.99
