A Boring zzz Day…

Posted by Michael on Thursday 29th April, 2010

Heeeeey Blog!

Today there is nothing interesting to blog about, a boring day is almost gone…

I did get my “order” from Topman, which i will write about tomorrow, which is Friday, the best day woohoo! :D

The last of the debates for the elections was on tonight, i watched it, and still no clearer on any issues, i.e. which party has the best plan.

I got my voting papers the other day, i will vote tomorrow i think, or maybe Monday. In Newcastle we do postal voting, no need to go out to a polling station, just put an (x) in a box and send it off, nice and easy :) I am sick to death hearing about immigration…The fact is that we are in the EU which is good and i like it (maybe you already know, since this is michaeladams.eu ;) ) which means anyone from the EU can come here, just like an English person can go to somewhere in the EU if they choose to – Its freedom of movement and trade, how is that bad?! I really HATE the people who say “the immigrants should go home” because they dont know what they are talking about. The illegal ones, yes; but the ones from EU countries have a right to be here, the people who are against “immigrants” as they call them are so misinformed its unreal!

Barca Out of Champions League Despite Super Piqué

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 28th April, 2010

Football fans, i am sad :(

Barca went out of the Champions League to Inter Milan tonight. They won 1-0, but lost the first leg 3-1 therefore loosing 3-2 on aggregate.

Inter had a man sent off after 30 minutes, Thiago Motta, ex-barca of all people, for raising his arm against Sergio Busquets.

So Barca had a man advantage for an hour, and could not make it count. Ibrahimović had a bad game, but Yaya Toure had a SHOCKING game!! He was terrible! He even played the whole 90 minutes, and wasnt taken off, whereas Ibrahimović was taken off for Bojan. Jefren also came on for Busquets, and Henry didnt even get a look in.

Piqué scored a wonder goal, after being told to play upfront for the last 10 minutes. At least we know he can play up their for Spain if needs be

Bojan put the ball in the net late on, and it should of been the winner. But the referee disallowed the goal, for a handball by Toure, even though it was ball-to-hand and not handball.

Oh well, Barca are out. I have to say that Inter deserved to win because they did the job, got a vital 3rd goal at the San Siro and defended for their lives with 10 men tonight.

Converse or Lacoste Trainers?

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 27th April, 2010

Hey lovely Blog readers :)

I need some new trainers, i have had mine a long time now, and havent bought any for ages. Since i wear them more or less every day, i should really have more, or newer ones.

At the moment i have K Swiss, black trainers. I also bought some plain white Adidas ones, which i NEVER wear outside, its like they are my indoor trainers :P

This time round i think i will go for something other than KSwiss. I would love some Prada trainers, but they are really hard to find so it seems. They are also quite expensive, but i think would be worth it.

For some everyday trainers i have narrowed it down to either Converse or Lacoste. Maybe i will get a pair of each ;)

What do you think of these ones? I picked these ones out, i think they look pretty good….Not sure about the brown, i have never had brown trainers or shoes before.

What do you think? Converse or Lacoste? I may go for an Adidas pair, but i think its going to be one of these brands (or both).

World Cup Checklist (What have i missed?)

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 27th April, 2010

Heeey Blog!

As you can tell from my past few posts, i am getting ready and getting excited for the World Cup! Not long to go now! :)

Here is my checklist…I have a few things, and more are to come.

I will obviously get food last, i dont know what i will be doing, probably the usual party kind of food for the games, maybe a BBQ or something, that would be cool :P

I want a Vuvuzela aswell…If you dont know what that is, its a South African horn, they will be used over there by the local fans…If you saw the Confederations Cup last year you will know they make a hell of a noise when there is 30,000 of them!

I have flags and scarves from previous years, my house will be more or less all red and yellow. I might paint my face aswell, i am such a child :P I am going all out this time round LOL!

Alcohol is a must of course, i posted about the vodkas i am hoping to get soon.

I will also make a CD. I do this every time, and put all the classic football songs on it, Three Lions, We are the Champions, Campione and so on. I can blast them when we win :D

Spain also play on the day of my birthday :) Its usually around it, the day before or after, but this time round it is on the day of my birthday, 21st June i cant wait. The last time Spain played on my birthday it was in 2000, and they had to beat Yugoslavia to qualify to the next round…They won the game 4-3, after being behind in most of the match, scoring 2 goals in stoppage time  Probably the best game of football i have ever watched. So emotional!!!

Have i missed anything off my checklist? Give me suggestions please on what i need to get, i dont wanna forget anything :)

My Royal Blue Sverige Sweden T Shirt. The logo is flock, so feels really soft, it also has the Sweden flag on the sleeve. Very cool tee, as i dont think many in the UK will have this ;) £28
