Hey! How are you all doing today?

I have had this blog now for a long time, but only recently started using it again as you will know if you are a reader I am looking for ideas on how to improve it, so if you have any please let me know.

It is only really 3 months old since its relaunch, and i think i have had a good response so far. There will be many new features to come in the future i am sure, and of course lots of posting and photos If you know of anything which i could add sooner rather than later please let me know by leaving me a comment.

Hello Everyone! Are you having a good pancake day?

So, i havent made pancakes for a year! i hate doing them, because i always end up getting the mixture wrong, and i am a man, so i dont look at things like recipe books

So, for lunch i had 3 pancakes…Well it was actually only 2. The first one came out perfect, well apart from that is wasnt round, it split when i tried to flip it The 2nd one was no good, and went into the bin. The 3rd was alright, but not as good as the first.

I also used an old pan, as you can see, didnt wanna damage a new pan LOL! (and my flash was on my camera, if you are wondering…)

Next will be attempt 2: which is betty crocker ready made pancake mix…I have had this before, it is really nice, and makes less of a mess haha!

Its The Brits 2010 tonight! Hosted by Peter Kay, so it should be a laugh if nothing else. It starts on ITV1 at 8pm (i think) live performances on the night are from:

Cheryl has reportedly banned Ashley Cole from going tonight…Oh dear.

I LOVE pancakes! When i was a kid i used to eat them all the time….too many really! I remember inventing a new style…Pancake sandwiches! very very unhealthy LOL!

These days i only have pancakes on pancake day, and hardly ever any other time, if ever.

I like savoury pancakes, with H.P. brown sauce. I dont know how some people can have them sweet, with chocolate or things like that.

How do you eat yours? I cant wait to make some tomorrow

I already wrote about this song  when i first heard it last month. I said it was a bit of a grower, and a month later i am loving the song. There is a video now, which you can see above. It’s such a good song, i may have to get the Jason Derulo album in the future

Its the last of the great show on ITV Take Me Out on Saturday, and its had people talking over the past few weeks.

Here are my top 5 and bottom 5 girls on the show.

Top 5

Daisy, oooh Daisy….She has been on the show since the beginning, and is probably the nicest girl on there. She looks good and doesnt come accross as a bitch like some of the others. Why is she still on!?

Jamie, the posh girl. She looks good, and has some sort of personality which is more than alot of the girls on this show.

Tabitha, very nice looking girl.

Maria, looking very fiiiiine

Siobhan – Sort of a bit mouthy, she looks cute but seems a bit dim. She does have the “nice girl” about her though

Bottom 5

It was a disgrace of ITV to put this girl on. I suppose they are supporting equal opportunities or something

Shakira – The most horrid bitch on the show. She actually got a date the other week, the kid who picked her must be an absolute idiot! She is not only the bitchiest girl on there, but she doesnt look good!! She is one of them girls who thinks they look good but isnt, i HATE this kind of girl. Go back to the ghetto sweetheart.

The twins, my god. They look alright, nothing special. But WOW are they dumb. I mean really thick. Some girls are not clever but are adorable with their stupidity, these are just plain morons.

Allie – Loud, gobby lairy ugly girl. She is the defination of what i dont like about a girl.

Middle 4 – Hot, but sort of not

Jayne – Yummy mummy! I like this girl, she seems a bit picky though.

Roz, the model. Why would a model wanna go on a dating show? PR stunt i am guessing!

Jojo – Again with another good looking girl, let down by her slutty persona. Plenty of you in the bars and clubs my dear.

Girl next door kind of thing going on. She is a nice girl, with a bit of glamour thrown in.

The Apple store in Newcastle opens tomorrow. I dont know if i should bother to go. I was going to go, and wear a “I’m a P.C.” t-shirt, which would of been funny

I am not sure if i want to go, the first 1,500 people get a free Apple t-shirt, but they are saying that thousands of people from all over the country are coming, so that sort of puts me off. It is the first Apple store to open in the North East of England.

Its also the opening of the new part of the Eldon Square, where it is situated.

I was browsing around ASOS when i saw these sunglasses by Marc Jacobs. They are nice, i love big aviator style glasses, and these are green with nice lenses. They are not the most expensive, but still a hefty price tag of £89, especially when i already have Prada and D&G sunglasses already.

I think these go in the ‘maybe’ list

Hey everyone! How are you today?

Yesterday i tried to upload a video to YouTube, i never do this usually, i only use YouTube to watch videos. I am aware that WMG aka Warner, are the WORST people for having clips removed which contain music, but until yesterday i didnt realise the extent of the problem.

It seems that YouTube have an algorithm which can go through the start of a video/music and detect if it is in the Warner database, and immediately removes the sound from the video. The video remains, with no sound, and you have the option to choose some free music, leave it as it is or upload a new video.

Now, my video was just a funny, valentines video. It has 4 or 5 clips of songs, which lasted around 25 seconds each. It was hardly distributing their music for profit. The purpose for the video was for 1 day, for fun.

Companies like WMG are killing the music industry. They will have you believe that its the pirates which are doing this, when in fact it is their own ignorance towards new technology, media and how we are all now interacting. I completely agree that people who go to car boot sales and sell copies of music/DVD is wrong, very wrong. It does harm the people making the music/film, and should be stopped.

HOWEVER, using music in a funny YouTube video is completely different. Now, people will say “its still copyright infringement” blah blah blah. But these copyright laws were written a long time ago, for a different era. There is no way to really enforce them, you cannot stop every person in the world uploading a vid to YouTube which contains copyright material. I have seen so many clips taken down, for example clips of people using Singstar. If you dont know, Singstar is a karaoke game and you can record yourself singing songs.

The music industry, in particular WMG needs to wake up! Its not the 80s anymore, we arent recording off the radio (which people did and you could never stop them). If someone is using a clip of music in a video it is promoting their music, but more importantly it is not being used for profit. There needs to be a “fair use” style of copyright law brought into force, if you are using music under certain circumstances it should be allowed.

I am going to keep an eye on the WMG situation and see what happens
