World War 3 Germany vs England

Posted by Michael on Thursday 24th June, 2010

Well Well Well…It could of happened, and it has. Germany will play England in the next round of the world cup. Its the biggest game England could of played in this round, next could be Argentina, England are really up against their old enemies in this World Cup.

Last time they played in a proper competition was the group stages of Euro 2000. England won 1-0 thanks to a Shearer goal, but went out of the group with 2 defeats.

1996 was the last time it was in knockout round football, and England lost, on penalties, we all remember the Southgate miss.

1990, Italia 90, Semi final of the World Cup. The tears of Gazza, the those penalty misses from Pearce and Waddle.

But the most remembered and talked about still, is 1966. Final of the World Cup, did the ball cross the line, and England won and won the World Cup 4-2. 44 years ago, and England still talks about it.

Since i like Germany, and am from England, i want FOOTBALL to be the big winner

Candy Floss from the Hoppings

Posted by Michael on Thursday 24th June, 2010

Hello lovely blog readers :)

I wrote the other day about the hoppings in Newcastle. Well i didnt go, but my mam and dad did, and got me some Candy Floss  aaah just like a 7yr old kid :P

I tried it, and its rubbish!! Its all hard, it must of been old or something. You dont get much quality these days, the olden days were the best!! Its all about the profit margins, even for a funfair! It was bad quality, of what there was, which wasnt very much. boooooooooo!!!

England 1 – 0 Slovenia

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 23rd June, 2010

Well done to England, who made a meal of it, but finally got through the group. They didnt finish top, USA scored a late goal and jumped ahead of England and Slovenia and finished top.

The teams will play those out of Group D, which is Germany, Serbia, Ghana or Australia.

I really want to see England – Germany. So i hope Germany win and top the group :)

Friday night is the next big game, where Spain play Chile, and a win will do very nicely :)

T-Shirts from America coming tomorrow

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 23rd June, 2010

Hello Blog readers :)

I have a parcel coming tomorrow, its coming from America. I have bought some cool t-shirts, which i will show tomorrow or the day after.

I had to pay Parcel Force clearence fees Hostage fees to release my package, what a disgrace. It is a flat fee of £8.00, what a rip off! Thats for doing pretty much nothing. I also had to pay VAT, which i hate, but i suppose i have to pay it. But why cant i pay it direct and not to Parcel Force? They are ripping everyone off with their hostage fees, because you have very little choice in the matter.

At least i will get my T-Shirts i have been waiting for :) I cant see me buying anything else from outside the EU, so much for a free world!

The Hoppings: Newcastle Fun Fair On The Town Moor

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 22nd June, 2010

The Hoppings has been here for a few days, and it goes on Saturday. If you dont know what it is, its Europes largest travelling funfair, and is in Newcastle. Its been coming here for as long as i know, i dont go anymore, but used to as a kid.

If you are in Newcastle you should go if you havent been. Its pretty big, and has lots of things for everyone. I used to love it as a kid, hook a duck and the helter skelter, aaaaah good times! Gotta get some candy floss aswell ;)

Cake, Champagne and 3 points

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 22nd June, 2010

Woohoo! Spain finally won  They played well again, this time got a few goals, winning 2-0. Should of and could of been more, David Villa missed a penalty, but oh well, a win is a win. They now need to win the last game against Chile to qualify (they could actually draw i think, but probably need to win).

Yesterday was also my birthday :) I had cake and champagne, and watched the football. It was fun. I was supposed to share my champagne, but more or less drank it all myself :P 1 bottle down, 1 to go ;)

I love my cake, its from Costco, they do the best cakes by far. I had one last year, they taste soooooooo good!! They do amazing cupcakes aswell.  I had my “VIP” sparkler in my champagne, love that, Michael Stylée ;)

Sorry for the bad updates and boring updates!

Posted by Michael on Sunday 20th June, 2010

Hello my lovely blog readers!

I am sorry for the lack of updates, and when there are updates they might seem boring, especially if you dont like the World Cup/Football :P

The World Cup is here, and its here until 11th July. I love it, and it only comes round every 4 years so i will be writing more about it; This blog is about my life and its revolving around the football at the moment!

I have added a new feature to the blog. You can now “like” a post i make, and show it on your Facebook, check out the like button below posts and click it. I’m sure you will of seen it before.

What do you think of the football so far? I have liked it. The first round of games were mostly boring, its now woken up, but still the big teams are not performing; England have had 2 draws as have Italy, Brasil did not look convincing, they play again tonight. France have been the biggest joke so far, losing to a good Mexico team and drawing the first game, now Anelka has been expelled from the team, they have refused to train today (Sunday) and some backroom staff has resigned.

My team Spain lost the first game, and play again tomorrow against Honduras. They will need to win both the games, the final one is against Chile, which will be tricky, they are a very good team. England are playing their final game on Wednesday, and it kicks off at 3pm….So who is taking the day off work? :P I bet LOADS do.

Tonight i will watch the football, Brasil vs Ivory Coast, or Cote d’Ivoire however you want to say it :P Tomorrow its a big day, its my birthday!! :D I am 26, and will celebrate by watching Spain play, so it could be a very good night, or very bad night, you will know just by watching the football. Champagne and cake, mmmmm

What have been your highlights and lowlights of the world cup so far? Who do you think will win? I have to say one thing i hate is Mick McCarthy…He is soooo boring!!! He has the most miserable boring voice i think i have heard! Its horrible to hear, he has such a negative tone!

England game later

Posted by Michael on Friday 18th June, 2010

Hello Blog readers :)

How are you today? Its Friday, end of the week, and got another weekend of football! :P Have you been enjoying the world cup?

Tonight its a big game, England vs Algeria. England really need a win. Today i have watched Germany who i wanted to win, they didnt, and lost 1-0 to Serbia.

Slovenia played really well against USA and deserved to win, the USA got 2 goals back from being 2-0 down, it finished 2-2.

Its my birthday Moday!

Posted by Michael on Thursday 17th June, 2010

I have been so obsessed with the football i almost forgot about my birthday. I am 26 on Monday 21st June, woohoo!! Also, Spain play on my birthday, so i will be watching the match with cake and champagne :) Its weird to think that in the last world cup i was 22, it was only 4 years ago, sometimes it feels like only yesterday, sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago!

I got myself my favourite vodka, Roberto Cavalli, and i decided to go for 3 bottles of Moet Champagne. I already have done Cristal for my birthday and xmas before, and i love it, but this time round i want a glass of champagne, the rest will be used for Absolut Chambulls! (vodka + Champagne + Redbull)
