Marc Jacobs Sunglasses next?

Posted by Michael on February 15, 2010

I was browsing around ASOS when i saw these sunglasses by Marc Jacobs. They are nice, i love big aviator style glasses, and these are green with nice lenses. They are not the most expensive, but still a hefty price tag of £89, especially when i already have Prada and D&G sunglasses already.

I think these go in the ‘maybe’ list :)

What do you think of them?

You can get them here

More Clothes from ASOS! Tees, Boxers, Snood and more!

Posted by Michael on February 11, 2010

Hello Everyone!

How are you? Today it is sunny in Newcastle! Very cold, but still at least the sun is shining…For now :)

Yesterday i got some things delivered from ASOS, i ordered lots of different items, including accessories like a necklace and a few different braclets. I also got a hat, and a snood, since it is still winter and cold! I couldnt order without getting the usual-T-Shirts! i got 3, 2 i blogged about already, i was thinking about getting the Blue Hugo Boss top, and i did :)

I got some other things which arent pictured which were a necklace, a few head sweatbands and some arm ones aswell for when i go running.

My Blue Hugo Boss top i blogged about the other day. It is nice, and feels really comfortable. It is made out of strechy cotton, and fits snug on my body. This is the style of t-shirt i like at the moment. This was £32.

My FCUK top. It is a heavier cotton than the Boss top, and less of a fitted style, but it does fit really nicely, and was a bargin at only £20.

This is my first ASOS own brand T-Shirt. It fits really well, maybe a tiny bit smaller than the other brands but not enough to notice. This also has a pocket, (at the right breast-as you look at the pic) which i did not realise when i bought it LOL! I saw that Junk De Luxe have a similar t-shirt, but for £35. This was only £12, so i could of got almost 3 for the same price! I need some “every day” t-shirts, which i will blog abuot later….I love Junk De Luxe of course, one of my favourite brands :)

What do you think? Hope you like them :)

ASOS Curve now Live

Posted by Michael on January 22, 2010

ASOS has launched another arm to their expanding website, called ASOS Curve. Here you will find clothing in sizes 20-26. This has just launched today, and with a few pieces on offer. There have been mixed reviews of it on ASOS, with fair critism of a lack of products and colours. But this is only the first day, so i expect the product range to get more extensive from next week.

I think they missed a trick on the name, they could of called it curvee or went for a posh sophisticated angle and wrote it as curvée, which are obviously a play on words for curvey.

 £28  £35 £38

I like the fitted dresses on this goregous model. It goes to show you that wearing something baggy does not make you look skinny. Wearing a fitted dress is much better looking and gives you tone.

My new Clothes from ASOS in January

Posted by Michael on January 14, 2010

It is January, that means January sales! You can pick up some great stuff for good prices, so i did! Got myself a nice jumper/sweater (for a change?!) by Junk De Luxe in blue, i am sick of having everything black so this was a nice change, i love this colour blue.

Also got a black long sleeve shirt by Diesel, it will look smart with a black jacket and my new cuff links.

Cant seem to buy any clothing without getting some jeans, so picked up some J Lindberg and Nudie jeans…That’s Junk De Luxe, Nudie and J Lindberg, i am really representing Scandinavia!

All this is from ASOS.com

Junk De Luxe Blue Sweater with large buttons £49

Black Diesel Shirt – £28

J Lindberg Jeans – £66

Nudie Jeans – £71

OK ASOS, You are really annoying me now!

asos-annoying

I was gonna write about this a few days ago, but i didnt bother. I thought the ASOS mental advertising campaign would have stopped by now, but it seems to continue.

They seem to have stepped up their online ads, and now it seems EVERY site i go to has their ad on it! I’m talking about almost every website i visit, they are on it. They must be spending an absolute fortune on their ad marketing campaign; from big websites such as The Sun Newspaper, to smaller blogs which they will advertise on through an ad-network.

I love ASOS, but this is stupid! I am now sick to the site of the ads, it is annoying to have the same ad thrown in my face on more or less all the sites i go on. Not only that, but their ads are ‘intelligent’ so it can remember products i have viewed on their site, and show me them in an ad. Such a bad idea for marketing, people are sensitive about their privacy, this doesnt really help.

Sort it out ASOS!
