This news broke yesterday, but i forgot to write about it
The Playstation 3 has been hacked, by George Hotz, the same guy who hacked Apple’s iPhone. The hack will allow for homebrew and pirated games.
I wonder if this will bring up the sales of Blu Ray writers, blu ray blank discs and indeed the PS3.

I was watching The Hangover earlier, and what happens, it freezes, then crashes. No response, nothing would happen. Tried to eject the disc and it would not eject for a minute or two.
It finally came out, so i had to restart the movie, and to my horror it doesnt ‘remember’ where the film stopped, so i had to skip through close to the part i was at. Luckily it had loads of split up scenes, so i could get really close to the bit i wanted.
The player i used was my PS3, so maybe it is that, other players may ‘remember’ i dont know. Is the technology too new? I am thinking it is more and more! Its like the old days of DVD!
Blu Ray has a huge amount of content, 50gb on a double disc, and it seems like the players, at the moment at least, cant handle them.

Here they are: Swordfish, Bruno, Fast and Furious, Sin City, 21 and Gavin and Stacey series 1-3. The Gavin and Stacey is actually a DVD not a Blu Ray.
I have watched Fast and Furious and Sin City so far on Blu Ray and they do look amazing. The sound quality is even better, and thats just coming from my Bravia Z Series standard speaker, which is very impressive.
I got sick of looking at the differences between the DVD and Blu Ray equilivant, and just watched the films instead!
Fast and Furious is very good, i havent watched Bruno yet, maybe tonight.
I am waiting for The Hangover, its supposed to get delivered soon, but its coming from Amazon Jersey aka Indigostarfish, aka Amazon trying to save money from the taxman! Its such a shit service, i’d rather pay £1 more for the order than to wait for a few days and not know the day its coming on.
